How does online tutoring work ?
It works like a video conference. All you will need is a broadband connection, a computer with a web camera and a microphone. Skype or zoom can be set up on your machine. This is free to install and use. Like many professional tutors my preference is to use scribblar. Scribblar is designed to be an online collaborative effort and is possibly the best application for online tutoring, this is an online application so you have nothing to install. Using scribblar we can share work sheets, exam papers and work on these online just as if we had pen and paper before us. It is a truly interactive tutoring experience.
Who and how can I help ?
Many of my students need good grades to get into University. Others are motivated by a personal interest in science and want to understand better the physical world around them. Some students ask if I am experienced to tutor for their particular examination board. All exam boards offer distinctive courses for chemistry and physics. The differences between exam boards does not lie in the core subjects but slight differences exist in the assessment procedure (course work via practical exam). As a chemistry and physics teacher with fifteen years experience in teaching, tutoring and designing exams I am qualified to prepare students for these various exam bodies.

Since 2012, I have been exclusively offering online chemistry and physics tuitions. Recent technology advances in web based collaboartive work means that online tutoring is really very simple and effective. Now students are able to find and have access to high quality professional teachers regardless of location. No more worries about finding a good tutor in your local area.
